A few days ago more than 1200 elite Canadian pigs were shipped to the Russian Far East, an more shippments are potentially planned.

 

According to Russian experts due to the same climatic conditions in Eastern Russia and Canada, the Canadian pigs should easily adapt to Russia, providing an opportunity to increase the local pig herd and the production of high quality pork.
