A specialized turkey slaughterhouse and meat processing plant were built. In order to produce quality products the slaughter line of the Dutch company “Stork” PMT B.V. was chosen. This company is ranked among the world-wide leading producers of food industry technological equipment. Its production meets the highest requirements of the EU.

UAB Arvi Kalakutai KŰB processes over 5,500 tons of turkey a year. The company’s products are sold at the retail chain andat over 600 other outlets in all of Lithuania. 40% of theproducts is exported to Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, UK, Germany, Poland and Bulgaria. We are continuously searching for the partners in other member states of the European Union.

The main product processed by “Arvi kalakutai” is turkey meat. Raw material is supplied from turkey breeding farms being the integral part of turkey breeding, slaughtering and processing project. The slaughterhouses of our company and meat processing technologies meet the EU and national environmental, sanitary and veterinary requirements.

The main principle of our activity is to produce quality turkey meat products, nurture traditions of healthy food and promote turkey breeding in the farms of agricultural companies and individual farmers.

In 2004, the company implemented the program of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) ensuring the control of all production processes and hazard assessment, which is the basis for the stable activity of the company and reliable cooperation between the partners.

A control system complying with the BRC requirements ensures safety of the produced products.
